PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
Take your scuba skills further. Build underwater navigation, dive planning and confidence through five Adventure Dives, including Deep and Underwater Navigation, plus three electives suited to your interests.
Equipment use during training is included for all diver-level courses. Please confirm any special personal gear in advance.
AOW + Enriched Air (Nitrox) Bundle
Combine AOW with Enriched Air (EAN) and save NT$1,000, whether you take AOW on weekdays or weekends (AOW tuition + NT$5,500 − NT$1,000).
Weekday bundle NT$18,000 | Weekend bundle NT$20,000
The bundle adds one hour of enriched-air instruction to your existing AOW theory session, and upgrades two cylinders to enriched air at no additional cylinder charge within the original five dives. The total remains five dives, with no extra dives added.
Prerequisites & Registration
- Minimum age: 12. Divers aged 12–14 receive the Junior Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
- Hold a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver certification or a recognized equivalent from another training organization. No minimum number of logged dives is required.
- Complete the PADI medical questionnaire, with physician clearance if indicated.
- Bring swimwear and supply one digital ID photo (or upload it in the PADI App).
- Advance booking is required.
Course Structure
Knowledge Development (Theory)
Approximately two hours of classroom learning and dive planning with the instructor. eLearning and reviews may be completed in advance.
Confined Water (Pool)
No fixed confined-water component is mandatory for AOW; optional refreshers may be arranged if needed.
Open Water (Ocean)
Five Adventure Dives: Deep and Underwater Navigation are required, with three additional choices such as Night, Peak Performance Buoyancy or DPV, depending on conditions and availability.
